Helping Teachers

The password to edit is, "idea"

This idea comes from a discussion the PodCampNYC organizers had that stemmed from our desire to make 2.0 more relevant to the NYC area with some form of outreach to teachers to help them learn/implement new media ideas for their students. Our desire is to take the amazing learning and resources from conferences like ours and work to connect speakers/participants with local NYC area teachers to help them and their students best embrace the tools and ideas we hold so dear. So if you're a teacher, please let folks know how participants could best support you and your students. Or if you're a participant, consider offering your time/services to volunteer to help teachers in whatever way they need to give their students a voice in the new media world.

*John C. Havens - johnhavens AT blogtalkradio DOT com. I'd like to volunteer to teach some new media workshops at a school in suburban New Jersey (where I live), whether it be elementary, High School, or college level. Tell me what you need and if I can't teach it, I'll bring a friend who can.
